QuickTime Troubleshooting
Movie playback is choppy: Increasing the memory allocated to your browser by 2 mb or more will help with smooth playback of movies. If the audio stalls briefly during initial playback, try replaying the movie a second time.

QuickTime appears to be installed properly, but I still can't play movies:
1. Check to make sure that all the QuickTime Extensions are loading. Confirm that these extensions are active...
a. QuickTime
b. QuickTime MPEG
c. QuickTime Musical Instruments
d. QuickTime PowerPlug

2. Check to confirm that the latest QuickTime PLUGIN (current version is QuickTime 6) is present. If you have an earlier version of the QuickTime plugin, planetpoint movie playback may not work.

3. If you still have trouble, check to see if your browser's settings for MPEG are set correctly. Verify that all instances of MPEG are handled by "QuickTime Plugin". Occasionally some Netscape installations have "Sparkle" set to handle "MPEG Video". Change the setting from "application" (Sparkle) to Plugin: QuickTime Plugin.

4. If you still have difficulty playing planetpoint movies after trying the above techniques, we recommend downloading and re-installing the latest version of QuickTime.
