Planetpoint movies
are delivered in high quality QuickTime format. Viewing Planetpoint
QuickTimes requires a 200 mhz+ PowerMac, Pentium PC, or workstation.
32 MB of RAM is a minimum requirement, with 64 MB+ recommended
for best results.
Planetpoint movies
may be viewed from within your browser using the QuickTime player
plugin on the movie page. Please press the play button on player
after the download is complete. If you do not have QuickTime
installed, you will be prompted to download the software.
Note: Older Planetpoint movies are in MPEG format.
These movies will also play using the QuickTime player on
the Macintosh, but Internet Explorer and the Windows Media
Player are required on the PC. Please see our MPEG

An ISDN or
better connection will speed downloads, which run approximately
2.9 MB for a 30 second spot. Approximate Download Times for
a 30 second spot: T-1: 30 seconds or less; DSL 384: 2 minute;
ISDN: 5 minutes; 56k modem: 14 minutes. Download times may
vary due to network conditions.

QuickTime
The latest
QuickTime plug-in is required to play Planetpoint movies.
Simply download the small installer from Apple's web site.
While still connected to the internet, launch the installer
and follow the instructions to download and install QuickTime
on your computer. QuickTime automatically installs all the
elements needed to view Planetpoint QuickTimes. Netscape and
Internet Explorer will be updated and ready to play Planetpoint
movies. With this release of QuickTime, you may choose from
a basic or a full installations. A basic installation is all
that is required.

AOL
Please upgrade to the latest version of AOL.
You may follow the instructions for installing QuickTime and
the browser plugin above or you may use AOL to connect to
the Internet and then launch Netscape or Internet Explorer
to browse Planetpoint. AOL tip: Click on the "Prefs"
button in the AOL Web browser, and deselect "use image
compression" button. You will now be able to see Planetpoint
images in full color.
