Planetpoint movies are delivered in high quality QuickTime format. Viewing Planetpoint QuickTimes requires a 200 mhz+ PowerMac, Pentium PC, or workstation. 32 MB of RAM is a minimum requirement, with 64 MB+ recommended for best results.

Planetpoint movies may be viewed from within your browser using the QuickTime player plugin on the movie page. Please press the play button on player after the download is complete. If you do not have QuickTime installed, you will be prompted to download the software.

Note: Older Planetpoint movies are in MPEG format. These movies will also play using the QuickTime player on the Macintosh, but Internet Explorer and the Windows Media Player are required on the PC. Please see our MPEG Movie Viewers and Tips page for more information.

An ISDN or better connection will speed downloads, which run approximately 2.9 MB for a 30 second spot. Approximate Download Times for a 30 second spot: T-1: 30 seconds or less; DSL 384: 2 minute; ISDN: 5 minutes; 56k modem: 14 minutes. Download times may vary due to network conditions.
