Biography:
From the first moment that Stefanie picked up a camera at the age of 12 she was addicted -- a light term to describe her love of the medium. Her black and white photography possesses a dark tantalizing style infused with high contrast grainy imagery and chaotic composition. She digs to the root of the subject matter and exposes its core to the viewer from a unique perspective. You can feel the tension in her work as she meticulously finds a way to get under your skin. Her color landscapes carry on the traditional moodiness of her style, rich saturated colors, carefully manipulated depth of fields, lighting and composition awaken you to her intense perspective of the natural world.
Stefanie's newest work also includes video production, and Art Direction/Production Design for director Niku Kashef.
