Biography:
Mickey Madoda Dube completed his degree in dramatic art and subsequently won a Fulbright scholarship to attended the USC School of Cinema/TV, where he graduated with honours. After graduating, he worked on a variety of feature films and music videos in LA for the next two years before returning to South Africa.Mickey then moved onto working on a variety of documentaries and television feature films and series including a series on the Love Life campaign and directing South Africa’s production of Sesame Street. He also taught at the Newtown School of Cinema and TV.
Mickey turned his considerable talents to the commercials arena at the beginning of 2001 and has already made his mark with Cell C campaigns, two of which won 1st and 2nd place in May for Ad of the Month.
