Palm OS Handheld Tips
Palm Web Pro Bookmark Tips
You can view and open your bookmarks. (If your handheld has a 5-way navigator,
you can use it instead of a stylus):
o To open a bookmark, select it and tap the Go button. (Navigator: Press
up or down to scroll to the page you want, and press select.)
o To add a bookmark to the list, tap the Add button.
o To edit an entry, select it and tap the Edit button.
o To delete an entry, select it and tap the Delete button.
Security Password Tip
You can protect private data and prevent others from using your handheld
by assigning a password:
o Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for
others to guess. (For example, your birthday is not the best choice; a
family member's birthday is better.) Passwords are not case-sensitive.
o You can provide a hint (optional) to remind you of your password. Your
hint will be shown every time you are asked to enter your password. (If
your password is your dog's birthday, your hint might be "canine.")
PhotoBase Help
PhotoBase lets you view photos stored on your handheld or SD card:
o Select Handheld or the SD card from the upper-right pick list.
o To switch between list and thumbnail views, tap the lower-left view
icon.
o To display a single photo on the screen, tap it.
o To see a slide show, tap Slide Show. To stop, tap anywhere on the screen.
o To copy a photo from your handheld to the SD card and vice versa, select
Copy.
o To beam a photo, select Beam.
o To send a photo with Bluetooth or SMS, select Send.
