Biography:
Greg's first commercial, shot with TBWA Hunts Lascaris for Tastic in 2000, saw him achieve the Gold Craft award for Direction at the 2001 Loerie Awards. His second spot for Nike was featured on Shots, and went on to receive four Silver Awards at the New York Festival. Greg was also featured as one of three CFP-E SHOTS Young Directors at Cannes 2002, another sign that, even at this early stage of his directing career, his work was being noticed in and outside of South Africa.

Greg went on to top his first year with an even more successful second. He won the 2002 Creative Director's Forum Ad of the Year for Black Cat Peanut Butter "Art Class", and went on to receive a Grand Prix, 3 Golds (including a gold for direction), 6 Silvers and 5 Crafts at the highly coveted Loerie awards.

More recently, Greg's commercial for Virgin Atlantic Airways Upper Class Suite ("Love Story") won a Pencil at the One Show, a Silver Clio and a Silver Lion at the Cannes Awards. It was also voted the 2004 Ad of the Year at SA's prestigious Creative Circle Ad of the Year Awards (previously Creative Director's Forum), his second such achievement in just three years.

A recent South African poll by the country's most highly respected Creative Directors placed Greg in the top 5 commercials directors in South Africa. His tremendous ability to achieve superb performances out of actors, characters, children and animals, as well as his strong understanding of the role of television advertising in brand building and communication, is a talent that is attracting many a storyboard worldwide.
