MARC BLACK OF BLACK MARKET PRODUCTIONS PERFORMS AT SUNDANCE
Marc Black of Black Market Music was invited by ASCAP to perform at the Sundance Film Festival in honor of his CD, Stroke of Genius and the documentary film of the same name in which his music played a major part.
The CD is based on the poetry of advertising creative director, Dan Mountain, who had a stroke, was in a coma for 21 days and miraculously woke up after his doctors had pulled life support. Marc wrote 13 songs based on Mr. Mountain's poetry and recorded them with help from Art Garfunkel, John Sebastian, the Dixie Hummingbirds, Steve Gadd and others.
The album will be officially released in April of this year although it's already available online at marcblack.com.
The film will be featured at the Westchester Film Festival on March 11th.
