"Rendezvous Charters, S.F." 60 Second Radio Ad Marketing Parameters/ Creative Solution To capture the magic of sailing on San Francisco Bay, we wanted to use actual crewmembers and heavy sound effects, created onboard the Brigantine Rendezvous. The copy heralds the historic significance of the vessel (uniquely positioned as the only remaining tall ship under sail in the Bay, complete with traditional Spanish galleon/insignia) while giving an action-oriented flavor of the grandeur and peacefulness of being out on the bay in today's fast-paced world. (Copy:) (SFX: Lilting nautical sailor pipe/historic music/old world charm, sound of dockworkers, clang of ship's bell, etc.) Narrator VO: Back in the days of old San Francisco, tall ships came and went as quick as the tide. (SFX: Tide pull/ocean surf/creak of wooden boats--flapping wind against square-rigged sail, then music tempo shift to modern/adventure instrumental action) Narrator VO: Today only one tall ship remains under sail with the look and feel of yesteryear.
